stackql
StackQL is an open-source, Go-based execution engine that lets developers and infrastructure agents query, provision, and manage cloud and SaaS resources using SQL semantics. By transpiling SQL statements (`SELECT`, `INSERT`, `UPDATE`, `DELETE`, `EXEC`) into native provider REST API calls via OpenAPI-derived schemas from the StackQL Provider Registry, it unifies multi-cloud asset inventory, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and IaC operations under a single query language. StackQL runs as an interactive shell, a CLI batch runner (`stackql exec`), or a PostgreSQL wire-protocol server (`stackql srv`) that connects directly to Python (`psycopg2`), BI tools, or AI agent workflows.
