These terms apply to your use of AgentIndex.app (the "site"), which is operated by an independent developer. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
AgentIndex is a directory of open-source AI tools. Listings include repository metadata from GitHub and descriptions drafted with AI assistance from public project information. We try to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee that any information is complete, current or error-free.
We may add, change or remove listings and features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the site.
Third-party tools and links
Tools listed on the site are created and maintained by third parties. They are governed by their own licenses and terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, security or behavior. Review a project yourself before installing or running it, especially commands that execute code on your machine.
Trademarks, logos and project names belong to their respective owners. A listing does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with the project or its owner.
Accounts
Some features require signing in with a third-party provider. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or harm the site or other users.
Your content
When you post comments or submit tools, you keep ownership of your content and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and adapt it as needed to operate the site.
Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive or spam, and do not submit tools you know to be malicious. We may remove content or reject submissions at our discretion.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security measures, or access it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure. Automated access should respect robots.txt and reasonable rate limits.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or of any tool listed on it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
