okou
Okou is a team agent positioned as something you hire into a role rather than prompt for a task. You @mention it in chat or Slack the way you would ask a colleague, and it works out the steps, picks tools from connectors such as Slack, GitHub, Gmail, Google Calendar and Sheets, Notion, Linear, Sentry, HubSpot and Figma, and does the job where the team can see it. Each request opens its own chat, so several tasks run in parallel.
When a job repeats, Okou offers to save the run (instructions plus the tools it used) as a workflow that belongs to the workspace. Teammates can rerun it from chat or Slack with their own permissions, or put it on a schedule or trigger. Anything that leaves the company or spends money stops for a human: emails are left as unsent Gmail drafts and ad budget changes wait for approval.
Each task runs in its own Firecracker microVM with per-tool read/write permissions and run logs, and the model provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google and others) can be chosen per run or per agent. The README is mostly product description and points to a hosted service and okou.ai docs; it gives few self-hosting details, and GitHub does not recognise the license.
