autoclip
AutoClip is an open-source desktop tool that turns a long video (podcast, interview, course) into short clips. You paste a link and choose platforms (Douyin, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Bilibili, YouTube); it scores segments and produces up to 10 qualifying clips per platform, each with a cover, title, description, hashtags and a ZIP publish pack, and lists the rest as candidates you can render on demand.
Vertical output comes in an interview layout or a full-screen podcast layout, with framing that follows the speaker. Editing, framing and rendering run locally; captions come from author subtitles, local Whisper or SenseVoice, or a cloud transcription service, and the analysis model can be a cloud API or a local one served by Ollama or LM Studio. The desktop app, a CLI and an MCP server share the same pipeline.
