AgentScope Java is the JVM edition of the AgentScope agent framework. Version 2.0, released as GA in July 2026, targets distributed, enterprise-grade agents that run for a long time under control, and requires JDK 17 or newer with Maven artifacts.

Its building blocks include a unified event stream with 32 typed events for front-end rendering and human-in-the-loop, a permission system that lets each tool call be allowed, held for approval or denied, AOP-style middleware around the reasoning loop, and workspaces that run tools in local, Docker, Kubernetes or cloud sandboxes. Subagents are defined and messaged through `agent_spawn` and `agent_send`.

Guides

For production it offers distributed session and memory storage on Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL or object storage with cross-replica recovery, plus A2A and AG-UI protocols and channels for DingTalk, Feishu and WeCom.
