skills
This repository packages skills, custom agents, AGENTS.md templates and MCP configurations for AI coding agents that work with the Azure SDKs and Microsoft AI Foundry. The README gives about 175 skills in total (it says 174 in one place and 175 in another): 11 core, 11 language-agnostic Foundry skills, and per-language sets for Python (39), .NET (28), TypeScript (25), Java (25) and Rust (7), marked with suffixes such as `-py` and `-dotnet`. It also lists installable plugins, role-specific agents (backend, frontend, infrastructure, planner) and pre-configured MCP servers for docs, GitHub and browser automation.
Install with `npx skills add microsoft/skills` and pick skills in the wizard; they are copied to your agent's directory (for example `.github/skills/` for GitHub Copilot) and symlinked if you use several agents. You can also clone the repo and copy individual skills. A test harness built on the GitHub Copilot SDK checks that skills produce correct code patterns; the README reports 129 skills with 1,169 test scenarios. The repository is marked as a work in progress, with skills still being updated to current SDK patterns, and is MIT licensed.
