This is a community MCP server from ExecuteAutomation that gives an LLM a real browser through Playwright. The README says it can interact with web pages, take screenshots, generate test code, scrape page content and execute JavaScript. It is a separate project from Microsoft's official Playwright MCP.

Version 1.0.10 added device emulation with 143 presets (iPhone, iPad, Pixel, Galaxy and desktop browsers), covering viewport, user agent, touch events and pixel ratio, and the assistant can switch devices from plain prompts such as "Test on iPhone 13". Browser binaries for Chromium, Firefox or WebKit are installed automatically the first time they are needed.

Install with `npm install -g @executeautomation/playwright-mcp-server`, through mcp-get or Smithery, with `claude mcp add` for Claude Code, or with one-click buttons for VS Code. Documentation and the full tool reference are on the project's docs site. Our data shows the last push on 2025-12-13.
