This MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude to your LinkedIn account through a real browser session. The README lists six tools, all marked Working: `get_person_profile` (work history, education, contacts, interests), `get_company_profile`, `get_company_posts`, `search_jobs` (keywords and location filters), `get_job_details` and `close_session`. Example prompts include researching a candidate from a profile URL, summarizing a company for partnership talks and suggesting CV improvements for a job posting.

Setup uses uvx: install Chromium for Patchright, run `uvx linkedin-scraper-mcp --get-session` once to log in manually in a browser window (a five-minute window for 2FA or a captcha), then run `uvx linkedin-scraper-mcp`. The login is stored as a persistent browser profile in `~/.linkedin-mcp/profile/`, which the README warns contains sensitive authentication data. Docker and a Claude Desktop DXT extension are also offered, and besides stdio there is a streamable HTTP mode with host, port and path options. A breaking change replaced Playwright session files with Patchright and persistent profiles, so old `session.json` and cookie settings no longer apply. It is Apache-2.0 licensed.
