MindsHub (formerly MindsDB)
MindsHub is the new direction of the project long known as MindsDB. The repository that once described a federated query engine for AI now hosts the platform superproject for MindsHub, an agent workspace for completing knowledge work and developing software with a choice of models. It brings together a desktop and web app, the agent backend and a data engine.
It is aimed at knowledge workers and teams who want agents to automate multi-step reading and writing work, such as reports, monitoring and recurring operations, and to build internal tools like apps, dashboards, decks, documents and analyses that can be published to a live URL. A secure vault connects systems such as BigQuery, Postgres, Gmail, Drive, HubSpot, Notion and Linear with credentials scoped per connection; a model router switches between frontier models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and open models (DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi); open-source agent harnesses can be swapped from a dropdown; and memory, skills and scheduling are built in.
Getting started: use the web app with no installation, download the desktop app for macOS or Windows, or build from source on Linux with `make setup` and `make dev`. A free tier is available, with paid plans for additional models and features.
