CleanYourTV went viral after developers started using Claude Code to vibe-code away smart TV ads and bloatware over their local Wi-Fi. By taking advantage of standard Android developer debugging bridges, it connects to your TV wirelessly, audits running packages, and runs pm disable-user on telemetry and ad services from Xiaomi, TCL, Sony, Hisense, and 24 other brands.
Because nothing is uninstalled or modified at the system partition level, the process is completely reversible with an automated one-line restore script. Users keep their DRM (Widevine L1), Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Chromecast, and HDMI inputs fully functional while gaining seconds of boot time and eliminating aggressive home screen ad rows.
The bundle includes a native 300 KB TV launcher inspired by tvOS: a pure-black background, focused app ambient glows, smooth D-pad tile navigation, customizable frosted input and settings cards, and floating clock screensavers that prevent OLED burn-in.
