Casibase presents itself as an AI Cloud OS: an open-source, enterprise-level AI knowledge base and MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (agent-to-agent) management platform with an admin UI, user management and single sign-on, supporting many model providers such as ChatGPT, Claude and Llama. Documentation is at casibase.org, and the README links a read-only demo (chat bot and admin UI) and a writable demo whose data is restored every five minutes.

The architecture has two parts: a JavaScript and React frontend, and a backend built with Golang and Beego plus Python and Flask, storing data in MySQL. The README includes a long table of supported language, embedding and other models and an install section. The code is Apache-2.0 licensed. The repository the-open-agent/openagent carries nearly identical text under the name OpenAgent, so the two projects appear to be the same codebase published under different names.

This write-up is based on the project's README and public repository data. We have not hand-tested the tool. Data as of 2026-10-24.
