atlassian-mcp-server
The Atlassian Rovo MCP Server is described in its README as the official MCP server for Atlassian: a cloud-hosted bridge between your Atlassian Cloud site and MCP-compatible tools. Once connected, an AI client can search and summarize Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Bitbucket content, create and update issues or pages from natural language, and automate chores such as turning meeting notes into tickets. Compass is also covered.
There is nothing to install locally: you point a client at the endpoint `https://mcp.atlassian.com/v1/mcp/authv2` (recommended; `https://mcp.atlassian.com/v1/mcp` is also supported, for example for API tokens). Authentication is OAuth 2.1 or API tokens, and access follows the user's existing Jira, Confluence and other permissions, plus IP allowlisting if your organization uses it. The README lists ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI and Amazon Quick Suite, and local clients can connect through the `mcp-remote` proxy.
