Activepieces

Activepieces is an open-source automation platform positioned as a replacement for Zapier, with AI agents and MCP built in. Workflows are assembled in a no-code builder from "pieces", integrations with services such as Google Sheets, OpenAI, Discord and RSS, and every piece is also automatically available as an MCP server that you can use from Claude Desktop, Cursor or Windsurf.

It suits teams where developers set up the integrations and everyone else builds automations in the visual builder. The builder supports loops, branches, automatic retries, HTTP calls, code steps with npm packages, versioned flows and templates, plus AI pieces for different model providers and an AI SDK for building agents. Human-in-the-loop steps (delays, approvals) and human input triggers such as chat and form interfaces are included. Pieces are TypeScript npm packages with hot reloading for local development, and much of the catalogue is contributed by the community.

Getting started: try the hosted version or self-host following the deployment guide on the official documentation site; the self-hosted edition can run in network-isolated environments. To build your own integration, follow the piece-building guide and publish it as an npm package.
