deepseek-pp
DeepSeek++ is a Chrome, Edge and Firefox extension that bolts agent features onto the DeepSeek web chat. Because the web page has no native tool support, it injects tool schemas into the prompt, has the model answer with XML tool calls such as `memory_save`, watches the streamed reply, runs the call and hides the raw block, showing a collapsed "tools executed" panel instead. The result is sent back to the same chat so the model can continue.
The feature list has five parts. MCP support covers Streamable HTTP, HTTP POST, legacy SSE and stdio through a local bridge or Native Messaging, with per-service and per-tool toggles, browser host permissions, and limits such as 10 s connect timeout and 64 KB per result. A memory system saves four types of memory (user, feedback, topic, reference) and injects relevant ones into later chats. A skill system ships 9 built-in skills triggered by typing `/`. System prompt presets inject a role at the start of a new chat. Scheduled tasks run a prompt in its own session on cron or RRULE schedules, with a 15-minute minimum interval.
MCP configuration and secrets stay in browser storage and are not synced by the WebDAV option, which only syncs memories, skills and presets. Install is a build from source: clone, `npm install`, `npm run build` (or `build:edge`, `build:firefox`) and load the unpacked extension. The licence is MIT and the last push was 2026-08-13. Note that it works by calling DeepSeek's own web endpoints from the page, not an official API, so site changes can break it. This review is based on the README and repository data; we have not run it ourselves.
