xiaohongshu-mcp
xiaohongshu-mcp is an MCP server for Xiaohongshu (RedNote). After you log in once, an AI assistant can check the login state, publish image-and-text posts or videos, search content, list the home feed, read a post with its interaction counts and comments, post comments and fetch a user's profile.
The README lists nine tools: check_login_status, publish_content, publish_with_video, list_feeds, search_feeds, get_feed_detail, post_comment_to_feed and user_profile among them. Images can be given as HTTP links or, preferably, as absolute local paths, while videos must be local files. Reading post details and commenting need both a post ID and an xsec_token taken from feed or search results. Deployment is documented with a quick start, login step, MCP service start and verification, plus client setup for several MCP clients and a Docker image. The author points to a troubleshooting thread and to a separate browser-extension based tool for non-technical users.
