ArcKit is a toolkit for enterprise architects that turns architecture governance into AI-assisted commands. The README lists what it covers: architecture principles, stakeholder analysis, risk management against HM Treasury's Orange Book, business cases in the Green Book style, requirements and traceability, data modelling with GDPR, technology research with build-versus-buy, Wardley mapping, Mermaid diagrams, vendor RFPs, formal HLD and DLD design reviews, ServiceNow design, and citation markers with source quotes.

The main platform is Claude Code. A core `arckit` plugin ships 75 commands aimed at UK government civilian and generic enterprise use, and the marketplace has 15 plugins in all, including regional overlays (UAE, France, Canada, EU, Austria, Australia, US), UK NHS and G-Cloud overlays, TOGAF ADM and AI agent architecture overlays. There is also a Gemini CLI extension with the same commands plus bundled AWS Knowledge and Microsoft Learn MCP servers. It is inspired by GitHub's Spec Kit.

Install in Claude Code with `/plugin marketplace add tractorjuice/arckit-claude`, then pick plugins. The README says Claude Code v2.1.172 or later is needed because earlier versions mishandled wildcard-domain WebFetch rules it recommends for confining research traffic. Licensing is mostly MIT, but the `arckit-uk-gcloud` overlay is proprietary and Claude Code only, which is why GitHub reports no standard licence. Last push was 2026-10-13. This review is based on the README and repository data; we have not run it ourselves.
