BettaFish
BettaFish (微舆) is a multi-agent public opinion analysis system built from scratch. You ask for an analysis in plain language and the agents run the whole job automatically across mainstream social media in China and abroad (the README mentions 30+ platforms and millions of comments), then produce a report. The author's example is a full reputation report on a university.
The architecture has several specialised agents: a Query agent for web search, a Media agent for multimodal content such as short videos, an Insight agent for mining a private opinion database and a Report agent that generates reports from templates over several rounds. The agents collaborate through a forum mechanism with a moderator model so they can debate rather than converge on one view, and the platform can combine public data with your own business database. It is pure Python and modular, started with Docker or from source, and configured through a root .env file; source setup also needs Playwright browsers and optional PDF-export system libraries. The licence is GPL-2.0, and the README is in Chinese with an English version.
