lilbee allows you to interactively or programmatically chat with a database of documents using strictly your own hardware, completely offline. It can augment any AI agent via MCP or shell, supports a wide range of document formats (PDF, Office, images, code, etc.), and includes a built-in REST API for integration into any GUI. It also provides per-project isolated indexes for privacy and organization.
