VSCode-Perplexity-MCP: This project provides a Perplexity MCP server that automates a real Chromium browser to use your existing Perplexity account. It includes a native VS Code extension with a dashboard and auto-configuration for over 15 IDEs, as well as a standalone npm package for other MCP clients. The server supports multiple search modes, sources, and models without requiring a Perplexity API key.; context-mode: Every tool call in an MCP (Model-Controller-Program) environment dumps raw data into the context window, quickly consuming space and causing the agent to lose track of ongoing tasks. Context Mode is an MCP server that tackles this by sandboxing tool outputs to significantly reduce context usage, tracking session events in SQLite for continuity, and promoting 'think in code' to minimize data processing within the LLM.
